One of the fastest growing mind-body exercises, Pilates is best described as a combination of muscle strength with flexibility and control. Pilates conditions the body by targeting deep postural muscles to improve core strength and stability.
Belly Dancing is a great core workout, especially for your obloquies. It also tones legs, arms and buttocks. Plus it provides excellent hip stretches. It is an ideal compliment to Pilates. Leslie Reed will be instructing an amazing total body workout, while having fun and targeting the core.
Learn the elegant art of Ballroom Dancing, such as the Waltz and Fox Trot. This class is a must for Weddings and Big Band Dancing. Partners are encouraged but not necessary.
Be active, relieve stress and have fun while playing one of your favorite childhood games. Adults over the age of 18 are welcome to participate.
PERSONAL FITNESS
Whether you’re new to exercise or someone who wants to take their fitness to the next level, the Mansfield Area Y Personal Training Program will get you results! Once enrolled, you’ll be working with a trainer on a one-on-one basis. After reviewing your goals, we then develop a customized exercise program to meet your specific needs. During each scheduled training session, your trainer will guide you through each exercise offering feedback, motivation, and accountability.
All personal trainers are certified, have a degree in exercise science, or both!
Note: Independent Personal Trainers are not permitted to provide training in the facility.
If you cannot commit to a certain time and day but want to take your training to a level you cannot achieve on your own, this class is for you! Taught by one of our certified personal trainers, you never know what they have in store for you!
For those who don’t like to workout alone, but with a friend, try tandem training. Train, motivate, and support each other to reach fitness goals with a trainer who will assess your individual goals and lead both of you through a customized exercise program.
The fitness assessment is a safe and effective way to evaluate your physical fitness level.

The Last 10 pounds is a 12-week group program that meets once a week with a Certified Personal Trainer and/or a Registered Dietician. The program provides nutritional guidance and support while offering the full benefits of working with a personal trainer. The goal of this program is to assist people in reaching their weight loss goal.
If you have a specialized heath condition, such as MS, stroke survivor, etc; try this small group training class. You will be working with a certified personal trainer who will lead you through a full body workout program. Limit 4 per class.
